7.5 Public Works Bond. A contractor or subcontractor, unless exempt under ORS 279C.800 to <br />279C.870, shall file with the Construction Contractors Board a public works bond with a <br />corporate surety authorized to do business in this state in the amount of $30,000. Before <br />starting work on a contract for a public works project, the contractor shall provide the City <br />with a written statement certifying contractor and any subcontractor have filed a public <br />works bond as required above. <br /> <br /> 7.6 Certificates of Insurance. The successful quoter shall, prior to the execution of the contract, <br />furnish certificates of insurance covering the required insurance specified in the <br />specifications and contract. Certificates of Insurance shall be delivered to the City contact <br />identified in the notices section of the contract. <br /> <br />*Additional certifications or submittals may be required at the discretion of the solicitation agent. <br /> <br /> <br />8.0SAMPLE CONTRACT <br /> <br />Included in this RFQ is a sample contract substantially similar to the contract that will be <br />signed by the successful offeror for this project. If a potential offeror would like to request <br />any modifications to this contract, offeror must do so according to the directions in Section II <br />Instructions to Quoters, Item 3.1. <br /> <br />The contract will embody the entire agreement of the parties. There will be no promises, <br />terms, conditions, or obligations other than those contained within.
