If so, we'll probably need to talk with bond counsel
about that some more like who owns it now, and how much will we pay. Depending on what other funding sources may come to fruition, we may or may
not end up owning part or most of the building as well. - Johnny
From: Jerome LIDZ [mailto:Jerome.S.Lidz@harrang.com]
Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2008 10:55 AM
To: MEDLIN Johnny R; CUTSOGEORGE Sue L
Cc: COREY Kurt A; MEDARY Sarah J
Subject: RE: WEWEC
Sue and Johnny,
I don't know if the issue about using GO bond proceeds to support the WEWEC was resolved. The last things in
my file are an e-mail from Harvey Rogers dated 2/9/07 and notes from a conference call we all had with him on
3/6/07. Harvey's advice was that the constitution does not allow the City to use GO bond revenues to buy
property or construct improvements for a private entity such as WREN. We talked about the City paying for an
undivided interest in the property or some kind of condominium interest, so that the City would be getting some
..3/3/2009
