A 0 <br />greement #01- MOU- WEW08102001 <br />2. TNC agrees, subject to available funds and resources, to the following: <br />a. TNC shall attempt to establish a contract with the same private seed nursery with which the <br />CITY has a contract. <br />b. TNC shall fund an equal number of species, or equal area of seed bed grow -out, in the <br />grow -out contract as the CITY does in its contract. <br />c. TNC shall coordinate with the CITY and BLM on plant materials program. <br />i TNC shall coordinate with the CITY and BLM on planning, funding, and staffing <br />seed collection activities. Seed collection may be necessary to get new species into <br />the grow -out contracts or to obtain additional seed for use on current year <br />enhancement projects. <br />ii TNC shall coordinate with the CITY and BLM to prioritize areas to plant each year <br />with the seed produced in the grow -out contracts. <br />iii TNC shall coordinate with the CITY and BLM to identify appropriate space for <br />storing seed and the materials and supplies used in the seed supply program. <br />iv TNC shall - coordinate with the CITY and BLM on maintaining a plant materials <br />database. <br />d. TNC shall coordinate with the CITY and BLM to determine an equitable means of <br />exchanging or selling seed and other plant materials based on the prioritized list of sites to <br />be planted each year. <br />e. TNC shall attempt to contribute staffing or funding to assist the CITY and BLM with plant <br />materials program. <br />f. TNC shall attempt to establish a contract with the CITY to compensate the CITY for use of <br />the CITY's equipment for seed bed preparation and seeding at the hourly equipment rental <br />and operator rates established by the CITY each fiscal year. <br />3. BLM agrees, subject to available funds and resources, to the following: <br />a. BLM shall coordinate with the CITY and TNC on plant materials program. <br />i BLM shall coordinate with the CITY and TNC on planning, funding, and staffing <br />seed collection activities. This MOU is neither a fiscal nor a funds obligation document between BLM and the other <br />parties. Any endeavor to transfer anything of value involving reimbursement or <br />contribution of funds between BLM and the parties to this MOU will be handled in <br />accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures including those for <br />Government procurement and printing.
