Attached is a proposal for a new contract for the performance <br />of youth work crews in City of Eugene Parks. The City of Eugene has the need for a <br />consistent, reliable crew that will show up as expected on identified days. In response to <br />this need, DYS is committed to providing an average of 5 youth crewmembers and 1 <br />supervisor for each day of work. The cost per crew will be based upon the number of <br />crewmembers working during the day and the cost of the supervisor. We are also looking <br />at the design of how we refer youth to the crew so that we can maximize our youth work <br />force on this contract. <br />Also addressed is reimbursement rate. Our costs have risen by a substantial percentage. <br />Thus, our rates have increased. Despite this increase, with our commitmen to providing <br />full work crews and with the professional supervision of Community Service Staffing, we <br />believe we are offering you a superior service at an affordable cost. <br />Please review this proposal.
