00745.00 SCOPE <br />(ADD) All asphalt paving work for this contract shall be Warm Mix Asphalt Concrete <br />(WMAC): <br />00745.02 Definitions <br />(ADD) Warm Mixed Asphalt Concrete (WMAC) - An asphalt concrete mix following all <br />requirements of HMAC, except that through use of additives or processes it is <br />mixed and placed at lower temperatures. <br />00745.90 General <br />Pay Item Unit of Measurement <br />(c) Level , WMAC, Ton <br />(ADD) In order to provide a means to adjust asphalt cement price, if needed, the fraction <br />of the WMAC per ton unit price which is represented by the asphalt cement in <br />mixture shall be designated on the bid schedule. Each WMAC pay item shall <br />have the cost for the fraction of the WMAC per ton unit price represented by the <br />asphalt cement in mixture designated on the bid schedule, beneath the pay item, <br />on the line identified as "Asphalt Cement in WMAC Per Ton of WMAC <br />Complete". The cost submitted by the Contractor for "Asphalt Cement in WMAC <br />Per Ton of WMAC Complete", for each WMAC pay item, will be used to calculate <br />a price adjustment, if needed', per Section 00195 of the Special Provisions. <br />00748.90 <br />(ADD) <br />00759.90 <br />(ADD) <br />(ADD) <br />(ADD) <br />Costs submitted by the Contractor for "Asphalt Cement in WMAC Per Ton <br />of WMAC Complete", for any WMAC bid item, over Twenty-seven (28) <br />dollars per a ton will be considered unbalanced and the bid will be rejected. <br />Payment <br />Saw cutting shall be incidental. <br />General <br />Pay Item <br />Unit of Measurement <br />(1) Truncated Dome Texturing Square Foot <br />Variable height curb used for construction of sidewalk access ramps will be paid <br />for by the square foot as "Concrete Walks". <br />Payment for installation, maintenance, removal and cleanup of temporary <br />sidewalk access ramps is incidental. <br />00850,41 Projects With Striping Plans <br />(ADD) Request pavement marking layout from the Inspector at least five (5) business <br />days prior to planned pavement marking application. The Agency shall have a <br />minimum of three (3) business days after completion of top lift paving to layout <br />pavement marking types and locations. <br />Special Provisions - Job #'s 4637 and 4435 <br />
