00180.41 Project Work Schedules <br />(ADD) A Type A schedule as detailed in the specifications is required on this Contract. <br />00180.50 Contract Time to Complete Work <br />(d) Recording Contract Time <br />(DELETE) The sentence, "Once Contract Time.has commenced, the assessment of <br />Contract Time will continue uninterrupted until the specified number of Days is <br />exhausted." <br />(ADD) Once Contract Time has commenced, the assessment of Contract Time will <br />continue uninterrupted until the specified number of Days is exhausted or the <br />completion date is reached, whichever occurs first, except for the following items <br />the Contractor's may perform in advance of the other contract work: <br />• construction of concrete curbs and gutters <br />• construction of concrete walks and ramps <br />• construction of other work to be performed in conjunction with the above <br />items, such as alteration of traffic signal equipment within walks and ramps. <br />If the Contractor elects to perform any of the above listed items in advance of <br />other contract work, contract Work Day counts will be suspended upon the <br />completion of the advance work, including clean-up, re-paving with HMAC or <br />WMAC any vertical drop-offs and removal of traffic control from the project site. <br />Work Day counts shall resume once contract work is restarted and continue <br />uninterrupted until the specified number of Days are exhausted or the completion <br />date is reached, whichever occurs first. <br />(ADD) -(h) Contract Time <br />Thirty (30) Work days will be allowed. <br />Work shall not begin prior to June 14, 2010. <br />Work shall be completed by July 30, 2010. <br />No weekend or holiday Work will be allowed. <br />00180.85 Failure to Complete on Time: Liquidated Damages <br />(b) Liquidated Damages <br />(ADD) When cold planed surfaces within the traveled way are not paved within the time <br />period after cold plane operations identified in the Standard Specifications in <br />Subsection 00620.43, "Maintenance Under Traffic", or these Special Provisions, <br />liquidated damages, in the amount of $400.00, shall be assessed for each Work <br />Day in excess of the specified time period.
