If tree roots are encountered Work <br />affecting the roots shall be stopped, at the Contractor's expense, until the City <br />Arborist can make mitigation recommendations or provide on-site Work. <br />In the event that trees are damaged when a City Arborist is not on-site, the <br />Contractor shall stop Work which may result in further damage to trees and make <br />a request for a City Arborist to the Inspector.
