WMAC any vertical drop-offs and removal of traffic control from the project site. <br />Work Day counts shall resume once contract work is. restarted and continue <br />uninterrupted until the specified number of Days are exhausted or the completion <br />date is reached, whichever occurs first. <br />00180.85 Failure to Complete on Time: Liquidated Damages <br />(b). Liquidated Damages <br />(ADD) When cold planed surfaces within the traveled way are not paved within the time <br />period after cold plane operations identified in the Standard Specifications in <br />Subsection 00620.43, "Maintenance Under Traffic", or these Special Provisions, <br />liquidated damages, in-the amount of $400.00, shall be assessed for each Work <br />day in excess of the specified time period. Liquidated damages assessed for <br />failure to pave cold planed surfaces within the traveled way after cold planing <br />within the specked time period shall be in addition to liquidated damages <br />assessed for failure to complete the contract on time. <br />Liquidated damages in the amount of $400.00 per Work day will be assessed for <br />each Work day beyond the Contract Time or the completion date, whichever <br />comes first, that the work is not complete. <br />If weekend or holiday work is approved by the Engineer, work performed on <br />weekends or holidays beyond the Contract Time or the completion date, <br />whichever comes first, will be charged as Work days and assessed liquidated <br />damages.. <br />Liquidated damages for each stage will: be calculated separately and are <br />additive. <br />00195.13 Asphalt Cement Material Price Escalation/De-Escalation Clause <br />(ADD) The escalation/de-escalation clause for WMAC is in effect for this contract as <br />identified in the Bid Schedule. <br />00220.02 Public Safety and Convenience. <br />The following bulleted item(s) to the end of this subsection: <br />Closure of Hawkins Lane to through traffic will only be allowed during <br />manhole adjustments, mainline cold plane pavement removal, and mainline <br />asphalt paving operations. Local traffic access will be maintained at all times. <br />Unless otherwise specified or as shown on street specific approved traffic <br />control plans, the Contractor shall maintain a minimum of one lane open in <br />each direction for two way traffic during approved Work hours. Full road width <br />shall be open weekends, and holidays not scheduled for Work. Full road <br />width shall: also be open other days the Contractor is not Working. <br />When construction requires the closure of a sidewalk or sidewalk ramp, place <br />a Type "W1" "SIDEWALK CLOSED" (OR22-12-533) sign at each point of <br />closure.
