The following items of Work will be constructed in the following order: <br />1. Manhole adjustments <br />2. Permanent striping <br />3. Traffic loop detectors <br />For 33rd Avenue, no lane closures shall be instituted' on 33rd Avenue until July 6, <br />2010 or later, unless approved by the Engineer. <br />00180.41 Project Work Schedules <br />(ADD) A Type A schedule as detailed in the specifications is required on this Contract. <br />00180.50 Contract Time to Complete Work <br />(h) Contract Time <br />(ADD) For Hawkins Lane twenty-five (25) Work days will be allowed. <br />Work shall not begin prior to May 10, 2010. <br />Work shall be completed by June 30, 2010. <br />For 33`d Avenue twenty-two (22) Work days will be allowed. <br />Work shall not begin prior to June 21, 2010. <br />Work shall be completed by August 13, 2010. <br />For Oakway Road twenty-eight (28) Work days will be allowed. <br />Work shall not begin prior to May 10, 2010. <br />Work shall be completed by June 30, 2010. <br />No weekend or holiday Work will be allowed unless otherwise specified in these <br />Special Provisions. <br />00180.50 Contract Time to Complete Work <br />(d) Recording Contract Time <br />(DELETE) The sentence, "Once Contract Time has commenced, the assessment of <br />Contract Time will continue uninterrupted until the specified number of Days is <br />exhausted." <br />(ADD) Once Contract Time has commenced, the assessment of Contract Time will <br />continue uninterrupted until the specified number of Days is exhausted or the <br />completion date is reached, whichever occurs first, except for the following items <br />the Contractor's may perform in advance of the other contract work: <br />• construction of concrete curbs and gutters <br />• construction of concrete walks and ramps <br />• construction of other work to be performed in conjunction with the above <br />items, such as alteration of traffic signal equipment within walks and <br />ramps. <br />If the Contractor elects to perform any of the above listed items in advance of <br />other contract work, contract Work Day counts will be suspended upon the <br />completion of the advance work, including clean-up, re-paving with HMAC or <br />Special Provisions Job #'s 4583, 4617 and 4655 Page 2 <br />
