Upon- request the contractor shall also notify USPS on a <br />daily basis of specific Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />• The contractor shall provide five (5) business days prior notification to City of <br />Eugene Police Department, (541) 682-5111. Upon request the contractor <br />shall also notify City of Eugene Police Department on a daily basis of specific <br />Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />• The contractor shall provide five (5) business days prior notification to City of <br />Eugene Fire & Emergency Services, (541) 682-7100. Upon request the <br />contractor shall also notify City of Eugene Fire & Emergency Services on a <br />daily basis of specific Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />00225.05 Contractor's Traffic Control Plan <br />(DELETE) The first sentence. <br />(ADD) The Traffic Control Plan' in the plan set has been approved by'the Engineer, for <br />use by the Contractor. It is the Contractor's responsibility to modify this TCP as <br />necessary to provide a complete TCP for the Contractor's Work operations. Any <br />modifications to this plan requires that the Contractor submit a detailed Work <br />schedule showing stage construction along with the Traffic Control Plan(s) (TCP) <br />in writing five (5) Work Days before the pre-construction conference for <br />approval. If, as determined by the Engineer, the TCP does not meet these <br />requirements the TCP will be rejected and no adjustment of Contract Time will be <br />allowed. <br />00225.90A Method "B"- Lump Sum Basis - <br />(DELETE) Entire paragraph. <br />(ADD) Payment for the item "Temporary Work Zone Traffic Control, Complete" will be <br />made at the Contract lump sum amount and will be for furnishing, installing, <br />moving, operating, maintaining, inspecting, and removing materials and TCD), <br />and for furnishing all equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to complete the <br />Work as specified. <br />Revisions to the provided TCP necessary to accommodate the Contractor's <br />operations or traffic conditions shall be incidental. <br />00290.40 Protection of Forests <br />(ADD) When it is anticipated that roots of trees may be encountered during construction <br />activities, notify the Inspector 24 hours in advance, so a City Arborist may be <br />present during the construction operation.
