. _ _ .
k
From: R4YER Russ C
Sent: Wednesday, November ~.8, 2009 4:52 PM
To: OAKES Jeanne M; KEPPLER Peggy A .
. Subject: FIN. Metra ww Study Land Values -Cedar Creek
We are dying some preliminary budget estimates for possible future metro waterways projects. It is being managed by
LG4G and they have $4,Da0 of consulting fees available, which should be approximately what our time and charges
_ would be. This would be~for time for. Floyd, Vickie, and f or me. A few questions arose about how to best charge for
these. I think it was concluded an IGA would be preferable. There was a question of who is authorized to sign on behalf
.of the city. It is only $4,DQ4, but it is with another governmental agency. Once, upon a time we used to have CM sign
governmental agreements. Can Kurt sign or does it need to be CM? l see Kurt signed, far the lGA with Coburg, so l am
guessing that will be fine?
Any ideas on how we should account for it on our timecards - would we .receive a special account nu~ber--also similar
to Coburg and Cottage Grave? is there a way we can do that but, charge ~C4G one flat fee? ptherwis~e perhaps we can
track our time and hold it to the $4,OD0 based on our psf rates. Or if anyone has a better thought. Thanks. Russ t
From: ROYER Russ C
Sent: Wednesday, November ~8, 2009 2.2D PM To. KRUEGER Jeff
Subject: RE: Metro WW Study Land Values -Cedar Creek
That would make sense, it just seemed someone once interpreted that intergovernmental contracts needed CM. I don't
know why it should matter and that was a few years ago, .
From: KRUEGER.Jeff [mailto:JKrueger~lcag.org~
Sent: Wednesday, November 18, 2009 2: i8 PM
To: ROYER Russ C Subject: RE: Metro WW Study Land Values -Cedar Creek
~Go ahead and verify Russ, but I believe if its under $25,OD0 it doesn't need to go to the City Manager based onsome
similar contracts I've done recently.
From: ROYER Russ C ~mailto:Russ.C.Ra er ci.eu ene.or.us
Sent: Wednesday, November. i8, 2009 2:04 PM
To: KRUC-GER Jeff Subject: RE: Metro WW Study land Vatues - Cedar~Creek
think it might take the city manager, but I will check and let you know. I'll say that the City will bill ~.CGG for the work by the end of the Calendar Year, not to
exceed $4,000. l believe Kurt Corey would be the one to sign the 1GA. is that Correct?
2
