The number of observation visits is <br />given in the attached fee estimate spreadsheet. <br />Task 6 - As-Constructed Plans and Letter of Compliance <br />OBEC shall make corrections to the existing plans and provide two (2) copies of complete "as- <br />constructed" 11 x17 (half-size) paper contract drawings to the City for final records. Deliverables <br />include two copies of completed "as-constructed" contract drawings 11 x17 (half-size) paper and <br />Letter of Compliance that construction conforms to the plans and specifications. <br />Estimated Fee <br />The attached spreadsheet indicates the anticipated hours and associated fees required to complete <br />the tasks as outlined above. At this time OBEC estimates this scope of work can be completed on a <br />time and material basis for an amount not to exceed $19,370 based on the attached 2008 Schedule <br />of Hourly Rates, which corresponds to the rate structure in our current flex service agreement with the <br />City. Currently, our flex service contract is set to expire at the end of November 2009, and we <br />assume that if we are under contract for this project prior to expiration, it is acceptable to complete <br />the work under the current agreement. <br />Schedule <br />It is our understanding that the City would like to attach OBEC's 60-percent vault cover drawings to the <br />City's runway overlay 60-percent plans due to the FAA on December 7, 2009. OBEC is prepared to <br />complete 60-percent design and cost estimate by November 27, 2009, given timely notice to proceed. <br />OBEC will complete our 60-percent design, including incorporation of review comments by the City, <br />prior to December 4, 2009. Final design will be completed on an agreed schedule to be determined <br />by the City. <br />We hope this proposal provides the City with the information required at this time.
