Removal and <br /> replacement of manhole frames and lids shall be performed during the manhole <br /> adjustment operation and payment for this Work shall be included in the <br /> applicable bid item for adjustment of manholes. <br /> 00620.40 Pavement Removal - <br /> (d) Pavement Removal Alternative <br /> (DELETE) The sentence beginning "Longitudinal drop-offs..." <br /> (ADD) Longitudinal drop-offs more than three (3) inches require a wedge. Traffic will <br /> not be allowed to cross drop-offs of more than three (3) inches until wedges are <br /> in place. ' <br /> (ADD) Section 00642 -Full Depth Reclamation <br /> Section 00642, which is not a Standard Specification, is included in this Project by Special <br /> Provision. <br /> Description <br /> 00642.00 Scope -This work consists of reclaiming the existing asphalt pavement, base <br /> aggregate and subgrade materials as detailed in the plans. The reclaimed material shall be <br /> mixed in place~with Portland Cement, as a stabilizing agent, and water. The mixture shall be <br /> compacted to specified density to produce a new stable base layer. The new base layer shall <br /> be proportioned, mixed, placed, compacted, and cured in accordance with -this. specification, <br /> <br /> and shall conform to the lines,~grades, thicknesses, and typical cross sections shown in the <br /> plan. <br /> <br /> The Full Depth Reclaimed material shall be stabilized using Portland Cement. The percentage <br /> <br /> of Portland Cement in the stabilized material will be based on the dry weight of reclaimed <br /> material <br /> Excess material generated from the FDR process shall be utilized as shoulder rock under the <br /> bid item "Reclaimed Base Aggregate in Shoulders". The reclaimed materials shall be <br /> supplemented, as directed by the Engineer, with Aggregate Shoulder materials as specified in <br /> Section 00640..Placement and finishing of the shoulder materials generated from he FDR <br /> process shall be according to Section 00640. <br /> 00642.01 Abbreviations: <br /> FDR -Full Depth Reclamation. <br /> MD -Mix Design. <br /> Special Provisions -Job #4624 Page.S of 15 <br /> <br />
