Street Flagging" traffic control plan detailed on sheet TC01. , <br /> When construction requires the closure of a sidewalk or sidewalk ramp, place a <br /> Type "W1" "SIDEWALK CLOSED" (OR22-12-533) sign at each point of closure. <br /> Mount each sign above the striped panel of a Type II barricade placed across the <br /> sidewalk, facing pedestrians approaching the Work area. Advance warning of <br /> sidewalk closure (R9-11 shown in MUTCD) must be placed at nearest~safe <br /> crossing to provide an alternate pedestrian route. <br /> In addition, in areas where surfacing is altered or removed from multi-use paths, <br /> sidewalks, and footpaths, resurface the-areas with asphalt concrete or concrete , <br /> in accordance to ADA standards each day if the areas are open to pedestrian or <br /> bicycle traffic. <br /> The Traffic Control Plan in the plan set has been approved, by the Engineer, for <br /> use by the Contractor. It isthe Contractor's responsibility to modify this TCP as <br /> necessary to provide a complete TCP for the Contractor's Work operations. Any <br /> modifications to this plan requires that the Contractor shall submit a detailed <br /> Work schedule showing stage construction along with the Traffic Control Plan(s) <br /> (TCP) in writing five (5) Work Days before the pre-construction conference for <br /> approval.
