7.6 Required corrective actions shall be completed within 20 days. Failure to <br />correct deficiencies is a breach of permit authorization and the City may take any or all of the <br />following actions: (a) issue citations for violations of law, (b) issue a stop work order until <br />permittee has corrected the violations or nonperformance, (c) require permittee's surety <br />perform the work for which the permit was issued, (d) use City employees or contractors to <br />complete the work and charge the costs thereof to permittee's surety or to permittee's <br />security deposit held by the City, (d) revoke the permit or, (f) take any other judicial or <br />administrative action necessary to insure the performance of the work required b3'the permit. <br />8. The wiring shall be sized to provide a maximum voltage drop of 1 % from the utility <br />service point to the service cabinet, and a maximum voltage drop of 2% from the farthest light from <br />the service cabinet on each circuit. The applicant shall provide the City with copies of applicant's <br />voltage drop calculations for all non-residential street lighting design. <br />9. When more than one circuit is connected in a conduit run, each load conductor shall <br />have its own separate neutral. No "share" neutrals shall be permitted. <br />10. Street lighting conduits shall be installed a minimum of 30-inches below finish grade. <br />The primary location for street light conduit shall be in a joint trench with other utilities or under the <br />sidewalk area. Joint trenching shall be used and street light conduit shall be located outside of the <br />plant strip unless the applicant shows that no other reasonable alternative is available. If the plant <br />strip is approved for street light conduit, the conduit shall be installed directly adjacent to the sidewalk <br />edge, or, one foot from the back side of the curb. In no case shall conduit be installed in an area <br />which may conflict with the installation of street trees. <br />11. Conduit shall be sized to allow no more than 25% fill. No underground conduit shall <br />be less than 1-1 /2 inch diameter. <br />12. Maximum wire size for wire between the service cabinet and luminaires shall be No. <br />4 AWG. <br />13. Minimum wire size for conductors carrying current to luminaires shall be No. 14 <br />AWG. <br />14. The wire size for conductors carrying current to photo-electric control (PEC) shall <br />be No. 14 AWG. <br />15. Single street lights fed from a utility power source shall be controlled by PEC. <br />Multiple street lights fed from a lighting circuit shall be controlled by a single master PEC that <br />operates contactors in the service cabinet. <br />16. Where setback sidewalks are required, street light poles shall be placed in the parkway <br />no less than thirty-six (36} inches from the center of the pale to the curb face. <br />17.
