materials/equipment being installed on the project; and, <br />~.5 A bond, or other security acceptable to the City has been submitted to the <br />City; and <br />5.6 A copy of the approved electrical permit issued by the City's Building Permit <br />Services. <br />6. Commencement of Other Public Improvements. If the applicant has not yet <br />obtained the necessary utility concurrences, but has met all other requirements associated with the <br />proposed public improvement project, the City will allow the applicant to commence construction <br />of the public street provided the following conditions are met: <br />6.1 The applicant has submitted copies of applicant's communications with <br />affected utility companies concerning determinations of service locations, which shall be <br />shown on the plans, together with the name and telephone numbers of the utility company's <br />contacts; and, <br />6.2 The street lighting plans are complete,-lacking only utility concurrences; and, <br />6.3 The applicant has provided the name of the contractor, the contractor's <br />schedule, the engineer's cost estimate or a copy of the actual contract with the contractor; <br />and, <br />6.4 An approved description shut (blue/green cut ..sheet) for all <br />materials/equipment being installed on the project; and, <br />6.5 A bond, or other security acceptable to the City to cover all construction and <br />engineering costs associated with completion of the street light work, which bond or other <br />security shall remain in effect for a one year warranty period after completion of the <br />construction. <br />7. Releasins the Bond. City staffshall file the Engineering and Construction Agreement <br />and bond with the City Recorder. City staff shall monitor construction and place the project on <br />warranty when it is certified to be complete. The applicant's bond wdl be released by the City at the <br />end of the one year warranty period, providing all deficiencies have been corrected. <br />8. Costs of Review. The applicant shall be responsible for payment of actual City costs <br />incurred with respect to plan review, processing, inspection, material testing, and other engineering <br />services associated with the permit application; the costs shall be based on the engineering services <br />fee schedule in effect at the time the services are performed. The City shall bill the applicant monthly <br />for services performed.
