NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAHING <br />PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF AIRPORT RULE 5.4.4.3(b) AND 7.9.2. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Sections 2.019 and <br />2.430 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene, intends to amend Airport <br />Rule 5.4.4.3(b) and 7.9.2 to: <br />Authorize an increase in the maximum capacity of fuel tanks for which self- <br />service fueling operators may secure permits from the Fire Marshal from 12,000 <br />gallons to 15,000 gallons; and correct references to ASTM Standards in Section 7.9.2. <br />Adoption of the proposed amendments is necessary in order to ensure that self-service fuel <br />operators at the Eugene Airport enjoy the same competitive advantage as operators at other airports; <br />and that required Standards are correctly referenced. The proposed amendments: to the Rule may be <br />reviewed at the office of the Airport Manager, 288SS Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 during <br />normal business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or <br />objections to the Airport Manager, 288SS Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402, in writing, within <br />fifteen (1 S) days of the date of the first publication hereof, as indicated below The City Manager will <br />thereafter adopt the amendments as proposed, or as amended in response to comments received. <br />DENNIS M.
