S $ ' 9 3 ' Zo <br />- of the <br />City Manager of the City of Eugene <br />CONCE]EtNING NOTICE OF INTENDED TREE PRESERVATION FEES <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and 6.300 to 6.330 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971 which authorize the City Manager to determine and set fees and charges to be <br />imposed by the City for services, goods, use of municipal property, licenses and permits, and <br />specifically the City's tree preservation permit process, I intend to establish permit and <br />appeal fees as set forth in the Notice of Intended Fees attached as Exlu'bit A. hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />B. I find that the. proposed fees set forth in Exlu~bit A hereto are consistent with <br />applicable policies and directives of the City Council, including policies developed through <br />the Eugene Decisions process, are based on the City's estimation of the costs associated with <br />performing the services, and are necessary in order to recover those costs from the <br />beneficiaries of the services. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br />1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted <br />' at two locations at City Hall, be made available for interested persons at the offices of the <br />City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, during normal business hours (8:00 <br />a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays), and published in the <br />Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City. <br />2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set <br />forth in the Notice.
