WALSH <br />being first duly sworn, depose and say that I am the Advertising <br />Manager, or his principal clerk, of the Eugene Register-Guard, a <br />newspaper of general circulation as defined in ORS 193.010 and <br />193.020; published at Eugene in the aforesaid county and state; <br />that the NOTICE OF INTENDED FEES <br />a printed copy of which is hereto annexed, was published in they <br />entire issue of said newspaper for 0 N E successive and <br />consecutive DAY in the following issues: <br />Legal Notices <br />Legal Notices <br />OCTOBER 17, 1993 <br />~i~i"~ <br />Subscribed and sworn to befo e me this~r~ ~~, ~~~~ <br />Notary ublic of Oregon <br />__ _ _ <br />'" NOTICE OF INTENDED FEES FOR <br />r TREE PRESERVATION SERVICES <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other <br />interested persons: <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY.GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of <br />i Sections 2.020 and 6.300 to 6.330 of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the C[y <br />Manager of the City of Eugene intends to establish the following fees <br />to recover the cost of processiong applications for tree felling permits, <br />' issuance thereof, and appeals in connection therewith: - <br />.Proposed Fee <br />t Permit application fee: <br />- 1-10 trees to be felled, no public notice <br />or comment period required $ 50-00 <br />1-10 trees to be felled, public notice <br />i and comment period required $125.00 <br />11-50 trees to be felled $275.00 <br />51 + trees to be felled $475.00 <br />Appeal fee $700.00 <br />' Establishment of the above proposed fees is necessary in order to <br />r comply with directives of the City Council that the cost of providing <br />F City services be recrovered from the user or beneficiaries of such serv- <br />ices; the proposed fees reflect the cost incurred by [he City in perform- <br />- ing the services; and it is in the public interest and essential for the <br />i City Budget that these proposed fees be established and implemented <br />as soon as possible. <br />Persons desiring to comment hereon shall submit comments to the <br />City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 within 15 days <br />from the date of posting and publication as indicated below.
