NOTICE OF INTENDED FEES FOR <br />TREE PRESERVATION SERVICES <br />1b: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and <br />6.300 to 6.330 of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends <br />to establish the following fees to recover the cost of processing applications for tree felling <br />permits, issuance thereof, and appeals in connection therewith: <br />Proposed Fee <br />Permit application fee: <br />1 - 10 trees to be felled, no public notice <br />or comment period required $ 50.00 <br />1 - 10 trees to be felled, public notice <br />and-comment period required $125.00 <br />11 - 50 trees to be felled $275.00 <br />51+ trees to be felled $475.00 <br />Appeal fee $700.00 <br /> <br />Establishment of the above proposed fees is necessary in order to comply with <br />directives of the City Council that the cost of providing City services be recovered from the <br />user or beneficiaries of such services; the proposed fees reflect the costs incurred by the City <br />in performing the services; and it is in the public interest and essential for the City <br />Budget that these proposed fees be established and implemented as soon as possible. <br />Persons desiring to comment hereon shall submit written comments to the City <br />Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 within 15 days from the date of posting <br />and publication as indicated below.
