f
Y
..
r Y
Attachment #4 of Exhibit A
Administrative Order No. 58-96-06 _
-.
2.1.3 Large Volume Users with wastewater discharge greater than
100,000 gallons per day
For new development with measured or proposed total flow greater than 100,000
gallons of water discharged per day, the regional wastewater charge is equal to
the total amount of water being discharged per day (Total Flow), divided by the
presumed continuous EDU flow estimate, multiplied by the rate for one EDU. The
presumed continuous EDU flow estimate (average gallons per day) represents the
assumed daily flow of a typical EDU, if continuous consumption were to occur
over a 24 hour period. The presumed continuous flow measurement is estimated
at 600 gallons per day. The SDC charge will be based on the greater of
calculations using either the City methodologies or the current MWMC
Equalization Fee charge as directed by the. MWMC Commission-approved ,
methodology applicable to proposed new development.
2.2 Rates for all existing development including River Road/Santa Clara/Highway
99 Areas
2.2.1 Single-Family Dwellings and Duplex -
For existing single-family dwellings, the regional wastewater charge is the rate for
one EDU. For a duplex, the charge is equal to two times the rate for one .EDU..
2.2.2 All other development with wastewater discharge less than 100,000
gallons per day
• ,For, administrative convenience, rather than verifying by physical inspection the
number of plumbing fixture units in existing development that is connecting to the
wastewater for the first time, the base equalization charge shall be determfined by
using the, hisforic winter water consumption for the existing development. The
,existing developments consumption for the preceding months of December through
_April is totaled and averaged and the resulting average is multiplied by the rate per
' 1,000 gallons. The. rate per 1,000 gallons is based on an assumed typical single-
- family. dwelling average winter water consumption of 6,000 gallons per month, and
is calculated by dividing the EDU rate by 6.
July 01, 1.996 Methodologies: City of Eugene Page.
