The CIP is used to plan improvements to the City's <br /> ~ capital facilities and schedule the construction of new facilities, over asix-year period. <br /> The C P includes proposed projects in the following project and program areas: <br /> • Airport <br /> • Building and ark Facilities <br /> s ,o . <br /> i Stormwater <br /> j Transportation ~ <br /> • Wastewater <br /> W~ith~each of these program areas, proposed projects have been matched with available or <br /> anticipated funding for the six-year period. Other needed projects for which no funding has been <br /> identified are included in the draft document as "unfunded projects." (Note: due to the passage <br /> of the parks and open space bond measure in November, some changes are anticipated in the CIP <br /> for Building and Park Facilities projects. Additional information will be provided prior to the <br /> public hearings listed below). <br /> The Planning Commission and the City Budget Committee will review the draft CIP and forward <br /> to the City Council their recommendations for any changes to the draft, prior to the Council <br /> adopting the final CIP. Public hearings on the draft CIP have been scheduled as follows: <br /> Plannin Commission ublic hearin on draft CIP: <br /> j g P g <br /> Tuesday, January 5, 1999--7:30 pm - <br /> City Council chambers, City Hall, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene <br /> City Council public hearing on draft CIP: <br /> Monday, February 8, 1999--7:30 pm <br /> City Council chambers, City Hall, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene <br /> Written testimony on the draft CIP may also be submitted up to 5 pm on the date of each public <br /> hearing, delivered to Public Works Transportation, 858 Pearl Street, 3`d floor, Eugene, OR <br /> 97401.
