Transportation Funding Secured <br />Jpgrades to City Standards <br />Elmira Road/Maple Street <br />Project Description: Upgrade to neighborhood collector with shared bicycle and transit facilities. <br />Improvements include street lights, street trees, two travel lanes, planting strips and sidewalk on both sides <br />of the street. <br />- This project improves an unimproved collector street to City standards and meets priority 2 of <br />TRANSPLAN Financial Policy #6 by improving the safety, efficiency and capacity of existing transportation <br />facilities, and by providing better access for alternative modes. Also this project is included in the Six-Year <br />~ CIP because the project includes funding sources -assessments to benefiting properties and <br />transportation SDC's- that are not available for projects that meet the first priority measure of "Protect the <br />existing system". <br />Project Status: In Progress In 2006-11 CIP. Project moved from FY07 to FY09-10 and project cost <br />increased by $1,460,000 over prior CIP.
