Transportation Funding Secured
Jpgrades to City Standards
Dillard Road Project Development
Project Description: Reconstruct Dillard Road as a major collector with two travel lanes, striped bicycle
lanes, curb, gutter and sidewalks. Planting strips between the sidewalk and the street are proposed for the
segment from Amazon Drive to Hunters Glen Drive. Extend sewer main from Hunters Glen Drive to UGB.
Partial funding of $420,000 is secured in 2013 for project development including public involvement and
preliminary engineering. The remaining funding for the project has not been indentified.
This project improves an unimproved collector street to City standards and meets priority 2 of
TRANSPLAN Financial Policy #6 by improving the safety, efficiency and capacity of existing transportation
facilities, and by providing better access for alternative modes. Also this project is included in the Six-Year
CIP because the project includes funding sources -assessments to benefiting properties and
transportation SDC's- that are not available for projects that meet the first priority measure of "Protect the
existing system."
Project Status: Not Started This project was listed as an unfunded project in the FY06-11 CIP
Specific Plans/Polices Related to this Project
TransPlan
Capital Costs ~$ in thousands)
Fund 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 Total
SDC Trans 0 0 0 0 0 420 $420
Total $0 $0 $0 $0 $0 $420 $420
Neighborhood: Southeast
Ward: Ward 2
City of Eugene 2008-2013 Capital Improvement Program
206
