Transportation Funding Secured
Upgrades to City Standards
Game Farm Road from City Limits to I-5
Project Description: Upgrade to atwo-lane urban facility. Typical section would match proposed County
improvements to the west. Two lanes with a center access lane and bike lanes. A setback sidewalk would
be constructed on the west side with road drainage captured in a roadside ditch on the east side of the
street.
Secured federal funding of $319,000 will be administered by ODOT and will not be received by the City of
Eugene.
This project improves an unimproved collector street to City standards and meets priority 2 of
TRANSPLAN Financial Policy #6 by improving the safety, efficiency and capacity of existing transportation
facilities, and by providing better access for alternative modes. This project is included in the Six-Year CIP
because the projects include funding sources -federal surface transportation funds, assessments to
benefiting properties and transportation SDC's- that are not available for projects that meet the first priority
measure of "Protect the existing system".
Project Status: In Progress In 2006-11 CIP for $638,000.
Specific Plans/Polices Related to this Project
TransPlan
Capital Costs ($ .n tnousands>
2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 Total
Fund
Assessments 55 0 0 0 0 0 $55
SDC Storm 80 0 0 0 0 0 $80
SDC Trans 750 0 0 0 0 0 $750
Total $885 $0 $0 $0 $0 $0 $885
Neighborhood: Harlow
Ward: Ward 4
City of Eugene 2008-2013 Capital Improvement Program
208
