Transportation Funding Secured <br />Upgrades to City Standards <br />Bertelsen Road (18th -Bailey Hill) <br />Project Description: Upgrade to minor arterial standards with two travel lanes, a center turn lane, bike <br />lanes and sidewalks. <br />This project improves an unimproved collector street to City standards and meets priority 2 of <br />TRANSPLAN Financial Policy #6 by improving the safety, efficiency and capacity of existing transportation <br />facilities, and by providing better access for alternative modes. Also this project is included in the Six-Year <br />CIP because the project includes funding sources -assessments to benefiting properties and <br />transportation SDC's- that are not available for projects that meet the first priority measure of "Protect the <br />existing system". <br />Project Status: Not Started In 2006-11 CIP, project has moved from FY08 to FY10-11.
