Transportations Funding Secured <br />Upgrades and Capacity Enhancement <br />Services for New Development <br />Project Description: Unspecified petitioned infrastructure improvements to support new development and <br />respond to infrastructure needs in developing areas (typically transportation improvement projects that may <br />include wastewater and stormwater system components). <br />This funding will be used for projects to improve unimproved collector streets to City standards and meets <br />priority 2 of TRANSPLAN Financial Policy #6 by improving the safety, efficiency and capacity of existing <br />transportation facilities, and by providing better access for alternative modes. Also projects using this <br />funding will include funding sources -assessments to benefiting properties and transportation SDC's- that <br />are not available for projects that meet the first priority measure of "Protect the existing system". <br />Project Status: In Progress In 2006-11 CIP. Designated as "generic" capital project.
