Parks & Open Space Funding Identified <br />Land Acquisition <br />Golden Gardens Acquisition and Development <br />~~ <br />Project Description: Expand and construct facilities at Golden Gardens Park. ; -, ~ <br />Acquisition at Golden Gardens is anticipated to require additional funding for major maintenance beyond <br />regular operating costs. A major maintenance/preservation project over the first few years generally <br />stabilizes the site which can then be maintained with ongoing operational funding. The average cost per <br />acre for major maintenance is $3,000. Because of the uncertainty of acreage purchased with these funds, ;' '~ <br />a separate line item was not included.
