In the short term, increase programming in those areas that do <br />not require significant capital improvements, such as youth <br />and family programs, special events, outdoor programs, and <br />community garden programs. <br />A-6. Provide drop-in activities that respond to residents' active, busy <br />lifestyles. <br />A-7. Provide more special events, such as concerts in the parks or <br />festivals. <br />A-8. Be adaptpble to the changing needs of the community and <br />identify and develop new programs as these needs change. <br />A-9. Continually evaluate existing programs regarding changing <br />community needs, attendance, and achievement of program <br />outcomes. Adjust services to meet community needs on a <br />periodic basis. <br />A-10. Use community surveys and similar techniques to determine <br />changing recreation interests and program demand.
