• The park is already intensively used for activities that generate traffic. Once a <br />portion of the land is developed for activity the natural space is lost forever. <br />Take care of the remaining natural habitat. <br />• I still have concerns about the natural areas. <br />• The overflow parking area is abused and overused. It is becoming an ugly <br />rutted gravel pit. <br />• Not enough emphasis on wildlife habitat. Needs more passive, non <br />consumptive. <br />• We need to protect every inch of natural space. <br />• Try to have it all and you end up with nothing. <br />Other- <br />• Less development, fewer athletic fields, more natural areas. <br />• Multi-use ballfields are needed. Very <br />concerned with money desperately needed for natural resources going to <br />athletics. <br />• Don't meet wants, because it is only focused on Amazon without looking at the <br />larger picture/ context. Stop using the work "needs" to describe "wants". <br />• I do not support more tennis courts. I do not support more drainage systems, <br />there are too many. <br />• I believe the park is being overdeveloped and places for flying kites and throwing <br />Frisbees is being lost. <br />• I support natural Amazon plan <br />• Some yes, some not.. I would like to see west side more beautiful and pleasing <br />to walk and hang out. <br />• Some yes, some no. <br />3) Is there anything you would change about the concept diagrams? <br />• Pool parking, overflow is tough issue. <br />• No expansion of athletic fields. Let's make use of those we have, and preserve <br />the wetlands. Please no boardwalk. <br />• Less impervious area. Less semi-impervious area (lawns). Zero use of biocides, <br />fertilizer, new asphalt. <br />• No overflow parking. No ballfield development. <br />• Less interested in sports fields. <br />• Remove soccer fields from plan. Too near creek and within delineated wetland. <br />Wetland mitigation doesn't really work. Much better to preserve in the first place. <br />Lease unused school fields instead. <br />• I would like to see native plant garden with perhaps some non-invasive <br />ornamentals that aren't native plants. <br />• Support "natural Amazon plan concept. <br />• Use the Century ballfield as is.
