The draft recommendations from the WBAC were ,z3 ,3Z <br /> ' the focus of the workshop, beginning with the first four of the five ; ,.°o °94 <br /> elements (mix of uses, design elements, open space and parking). <br /> Workshop .Two introduced the economic, market,. and regulatory <br /> context for the business transition, and the committee's preliminary <br /> _ recommendations for this category. Working in small table groups, <br /> R1 R2 R3 R4 RS R6 R7 <br /> about 165 participants discussed the draft recommendations, then Recommendation <br /> numerically evaluated each recommendation and added comments. <br /> The results were posted as a histogram that summarized each Workshop Two-This tablesummarizestheaverageresponseperrecommendation <br /> ' category and every recommendation, and the comments yielded (R1, R2, etc...) for Parking Options <br /> - over 59 single-spaced.pages. <br /> The public overwhelmingly confirmed the Committee's Mix of <br /> Use Recommendations. Dissenting opinions were recorded in the <br /> numerical tally and comments. The. participants strongly supported Pobiicopen5paceAveragescores <br /> utilizing existing parking supply, reducing parking. demand, hiding Z.°° <br /> off-street parking, and other parking related recommendations. ,.59 <br /> ,.u , <br /> ~ Workshop participants responded positively to the committee's ,.,3 <br /> ,.0, <br /> recommendations regarding options for open space.
