<br /> The Jasper sewer extension project will provide sewer service to areas of the urban fringe which are sEw~Ri~ENS

<br /> currently not serviced. The Jasper Road Extension project from 57th and Main Street to Brand S Road and ~
<br /> proposals for residential and industrial development in this area wilt stimulate the need for sewers. 50% of
<br /> project costs are proposed to be funded with City funds, with the balance to be funded through grants,
<br /> developer contributions, or assessments. Decommissioning of two existing pump stations is included in this _r~s---~_~ r,

<br /> Springfield Sanitary Sewer Master Plan. Furthers the Council goal of expanding the Springfield economy and the high priority target of Jasper Natron development.

<br /> Sewer system expansion will cause additional maintenance impact. Decommissioning the 2 pump stations will reduce maintenance and power costs.
