Observed safety problems <br />with eastbound traffic on Hwy. 58 stopping for left turns onto Mill Road. Over crossing is being improved by <br />an OTIA project. Funds here are intended to help with adjacent road improvements if needed. <br />FY 2007 <br />Cost: 350,000 <br />R/UV: 35,000 <br />TOTAL: 385,000 <br />OTIA III Bridge Replacements <br />Category: STRUCTURES <br />Scope: Local Bridge projects funded by the 2003 Oregon Transportation Investment Act (OTIA III) for County owned <br />bridges experiencing structural cracking. <br />Justificatian: Recent bridge inspections done by a consultant for ODOT doing annual inspections of the state's bridges <br />identified some bridges with structural cracking. <br />FY 2005 <br />Cast: 3,866,000 <br />R/W: NA <br />TOTAL: 3,866,000 <br />NO'('t::: Bridges identified wi ll be listed in the Summary Tables. <br />Overlays and Rehabilitation <br />Cat~;gory: PAVEMENT FUND <br />Scope: Fund for asphalt overlays to selected roads within the County road network. <br />Justification: An asphalt overlay is intended to extend the life of a pavement surface when the surface condition of a road <br />is at a point in its deterioration curve (non-linear) that proves to be economically prudent.
