The Board declared the site a Rest Area and allowed <br />expenditures from Road Fund up to $500,000 <br />FY 2005 <br />Cast; 2,200,000 <br />R1W: N/A <br />TOTAL: 2,200,000 <br />Marcola Road, MP 11.49-16.08 <br />Wendling Road to Johnson Road <br />Road ~: 1900-00 <br />MP: 11.49 to 16.08 <br />Project #: 1900-1 FC: Rural Major Collector (FAS) <br />Category: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION <br />Scope: Widen and overlay. <br />Justification: High speeds and heavy truck traffic necessitate a need to widen the existing 24-foot pavement and add <br />shoulders to meet current standards. The roadway was overlaid with 2 inches of asphalt in 1988, with an <br />additional 2 inches planned for this project when shoulders are added. Project will complete needed <br />pavement structure. This project also includes work on Cash Creek Bridge. The timber piling and caps are <br />decayed and require replacement. Helper bents have been installed by County Forces to assist the decayed <br />members. The bridge will probably be replaced.
