!. <br />I <br />The following sections of the Code of the City of Eugene, Oregon, 1955, <br />as amen'°d, are hereby published for the information and guidance of all <br />persons using the Mahlon .Sweet Field. <br />Sec. 4.4. Compliance with article-and regulations required. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to have or maintain an airplane <br />upon the airport or to make use of the airport without first having <br />complied with the provisions of this article and the .regulations pro- <br />mulgated by the Council. <br />Sec. 4.19. Rules and Regulation. <br />The Council shall adopt and cause to be made and posted at the office of <br />the Airport Manager and at the office of the City Recorder, certain rules <br />and regulations governing the use of the field. Such rules and regulations <br />shall be administered by the airport manager, who shall have the right and <br />authority to enfendeorurevokeethenaicensesissuednhegeunderltoathesplanehowner <br />same and to susp <br />l~ <br />Sec. 4.24. Compliance with signs required. <br />It shall be unlawful for any pedestrian to proceed across any portion of <br />the airport contrary to the directions contained on the various signs posted <br />by the Chief of Police thereon, unless upon express permission"from the <br />caretaker of the airport or any police officer in charge, and it shall be <br />unlawful for the driver of any automobile tlacaordseand si nsnerectedrbffthe <br />g y <br />or to park cars other than as directed by p <br />Chief of Police of the City, without the express consent and authority of <br />the caretaker or any police officer in charge. <br />Sec. 4.25. Caretaker of airport to have police powers. <br />The caretaker of the Airport is hereby appointed ex-officio a police <br />officer of the City to excise his authority at the Airport only, and while <br />at the Airport shall exercise and have all the authority of a police officer <br />Sec. 4.26. Delegation of police to serve at Airport. <br />Any police officer of the City may be delegated to serve at the Airport <br />of the City and while so serving at the Airport shall have all the authority <br />and power of a police officer within the City limits. <br />-4- <br />
