Any qualified mechanic who is a <br />registered member and part owner of the aircraft owned and <br />operated by a flying club shall not be restricted from doing <br />maintenance work on. aircraft owned by the club;. however; the <br />.club shall not pay for such maintenance work, except that such <br />mechanics and .instructors can be compensated by credit against <br />payment of dues or flight time. <br />All flying clubs and their members are .prohibited from leasing <br />or selling any goods or services whatsoever to any .person or <br />firm other: than a member of such -club at the`Airport except <br />that said flying club may sell or exchange its capital. <br />equipment. <br />C. Membershi~Requirer~ents <br />~I The flying club, with its permit request, shall furnish the. <br />j Airport Manager a copy of the charter and 6y-laws, articles of <br />association, .partnership agreement or other documentation- <br />supporting its existence, its roster or list of members includ- <br />~ ing~ names,addresses, and telephone numbers of officers or <br />directors,, the number and type of aircraft; evidence that <br />aircraft are. properly certificated, evidence that ownership <br />~ is vested in the club, and the operating rules of the club. <br />This information shall be updated on an annual basis by the <br />' club. Any and all records of the club shall be available <br />for review at any reasonable time by. the Airport Manager or <br />his/her authorized agent in the event a formal written complaint.. <br />is filed ag"ainst the. club. <br />D. .Federal Requirements <br />The flying club shall comply with all applicable federal <br />statutes and all regulations including, but not limited to, <br />.`those promulgated by the FAA. <br />'`E, State and Ln~a1 Requirements <br />The flying club shall comply with ail applicable state and <br />local statutes, rules and regulations including, but not <br />limited to, those relating to tax, fire, building, and safety <br />matters. <br />F. Insurance Coverage <br />The flying club shall submit with its application proof that <br />adequate public liability and property .damage insurance is <br />provided in sufficient amounts, needed to protect-the operation <br />and the City of Eugene and its officers, agents, and employees <br />from legal liabilities resulting from this activity.
