Projects not in compliance with this <br /> 80 schedule maybe cancelled unless substantial justification for an extension is warranted. <br /> 81 <br /> 82 Effective Date: This agreement shall become effective after both parties have signed this Agreement <br /> 83 and shall become effective on the final date of signature of this Agreement. Unless otherwise <br /> 84 terminated or extended, this Agreement shall expire on December 30, 2008. <br /> 85 <br /> 86 Amendments: This Agreement may only be amended if requested in writing, approved by the State <br /> 87 and signed by the parties. Extensions for asix-month period may be granted for the Project <br /> 88 Agreement if requested in writing at least 30 days prior to expiration date of this Agreement, <br /> 89 allowing enough time to prevent a lapse in the Agreement. The request for extension must show a <br /> 90 compelling need for the extension. <br /> 91 <br /> 92 Completion: The Project shall be completed by or before the expiration date of the Agreement, and a <br /> 93 final billing for the Project shall be submitted within forty-five (45) days of the expiration date of the <br /> 94 Agreement. A final report must accompany the final billing.
