Determine and budget funds necessary to bring the City into <br /> compliance with the established legal minimum safety standards. <br /> d. Review accident trends and costs through reports generated by <br /> Risk Services. <br /> e. Monitor awards and discipline policies for all levels of responsibility. <br /> 2. Division Managers <br /> a. Have a working knowledge of applicable health and safety codes. <br /> <br /> I <br /> b. Implement and monitor a complete safety program within the <br /> division. <br /> c. Assure the development of general and specific job-related safety <br /> rules and procedures. <br /> d. Monitor safety training activities. <br /> e. Review accident and injury trends. Take additional corrective <br /> actions when it is necessary. Assure such actions have been <br /> documented. <br /> f. Review serious accidents and discuss the corrective actions that <br /> have been taken. If necessary, recommend additional corrective <br /> actions that need to be taken to minimize reoccurrence. <br /> g. Review the inspection. of equipment and facilities and review.safety <br /> meeting reports from line supervisor(s). Make recommendations on <br /> areas of emphasis. <br /> h. Monitor/administer all written disciplinary actions taken against <br /> employees for safety violations. <br /> i. Develop general safety rules. <br /> j.
