Like full-time employees, <br /> part-time employees must be employed for six months before they can <br /> take vacation. <br /> Vacation hours for regular part-time employees are pro-rated by the <br /> standard hours designation in the payroll system. Overtime calculated at <br /> 1:1.5 is not included. Part-time employees must code vacation based on <br /> their standard hours designation. <br /> SEE: Appropriate Labor Agreement for Represented Employees <br /> 3-831.3 Emplovees on Flexible Work Schedules <br /> Employee vacations are earned and taken in terms of hours. Employees <br /> who work four 10-hour days per week and take a vacation day, must code <br /> ten (10) hours of vacation. <br /> 3-831. 4 Negative Balances <br /> Employees cannot have a negative vacation balance.
