If not <br /> found attached to this posting, please contact Human Resource and Risk Services. <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br /> 'I <br /> General Statement of Duties <br /> Provides general paraprofessional assistance with the City's data processing equipment acquisition and <br /> management program, including providing customer service, purchases inventory, maintains inventory <br /> database, and prepares journal entries. Works with technicians and other technical staff. Provides backup <br /> support for basic functions of the City's accounting system. <br /> <br /> f <br /> Example of Duties Performed-Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> <br /> ~ Works with customers to determine basic computer software and hardware needs; participates with <br /> purchasing specialized components. <br /> Participates with monitoring and maintaining the work order system and communicates with technicians <br /> and other technical staff to ensure proper completion of work orders. <br /> <br /> i <br /> Participates in the management of inventory components, including a return of faulty equipment. <br /> Researches technical specifications on component purchases. <br /> Participates with monitoring the equipment program, including determination of trade-in credits, <br /> software license management, and resolution of customer issues. <br /> Maintains hardware and software inventory database, including daily data entry and occasional uploads <br /> of bulk data; defines users and grants rights to the system. <br /> Participates in managing City's software license usage records. <br /> Maintains complex and specialized records; participates in the bookkeeping database, including daily <br /> .data entry for all program activities.. <br /> http://www.ci.eugene.or.us/JOBS/data.htm 3/10/2004. <br /> <br />
