Special Campus Concerns . <br /> 11:1 Campus Security. City and District recognize and support modest and safe use <br /> of 4J fields by neighbors and the community during. the instructional day as long as the use does <br /> 'i nat disrupt the operation of school or the instructional program. City and District agree to the <br /> following: <br /> (I) The facilities described in section 1 of this Agreement that are located on - <br /> District property will be used. in a fashion that maximizes community use. However, <br /> such use must be compatible with protecting the safety and security of students, staff, and <br /> visitors. District reserves the right to control use and access to the facilities during the <br /> _ <br /> __-instructional- da fram 7~.m: ~to 4- m: _ _ . _ _ . _ . . <br /> p: <br /> (2) District reserves the right to restrict. partial or all use for up to 48 hours to <br /> respond to a safety or welfaze emergency. The superintendent or designee will inform <br /> the city manager or designee of such a decision. Any restriction that extends beyond 48 <br /> <br /> { <br /> haurs requires the concurrence of the city manager or designee. <br /> (3) School grounds, including the Youth Sports Parks, will be posted with <br /> signs informing the public that the areas are school grounds and that public access is <br /> welcome, but may be restricted without .prior notice for security or, while school is in <br /> session, for instructional reasons. <br /> 11.2 Dogs. Dogs will not be permitted on the artificial surface fields. Dogs on leashes <br /> may be brought into die Youth Sports Parks provided that tt~y da net diszvpt the ed~catioitat <br /> program, aze not a physical or sound nuisance or danger, and provided that the owners clean-up <br /> dog litter. <br /> 11.3' Parking During the Instructional Day.
