I had <br />a long discussion with ODOT over this and the decision stands (as I expected). The second low bidder was James W. <br />Fowler out of Dallas at $1,708,414.50 which is $72,000 higher then Kipco and the city will have to fund. <br />The bid tab is on ODOT's web site for anyone that wants to look at it. It is underestimates acid schedule' and has not <br />been posted under awarded yet. There will be a 3 day period for any contractor to appeal with award and notice to <br />proceed possibly as early as Sept. 7. <br />~ Thanks Bud <br />1 <br />
