4.0 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED ITEMS <br /> BLM will furnish an office space and computer for Eugene city staff fulfilling this task order, if <br /> needed. <br /> locks. <br /> BLM will provide keys for sites that are locked by BLM <br /> BLM will furnish some tools and equipment necessary to complete the tasks identified, including <br /> computerized GPS mapping units. <br /> <br /> i <br /> BLM will ensure that the Northwest Youth Corps and Lane Metro Youth Corps youth crews are <br /> scheduled to work with the City on all tasks identified for youth crews. Specifically, BLM will <br /> schedule the Northwest Youth Corps "Teens and Trails" crew for one week and two days (504 <br /> person hours) and the Lane Metro Youth Corps for two weeks and one day (472.5 person hours). <br /> <br /> i <br /> S.0 SPECIFIC TASKS <br /> The work priorities under this Task Order were established collaboratively by West Eugene <br /> Wetlands Program staff from the Eugene District BLM and City of Eugene, based on their joint <br /> understanding of work priorities and site conditions. The work priorities are consistent with BLM <br /> accomplishment targets axed the funding sources for this Task Order. The work priorities are: <br /> A. Provide approximately 12,000 plugs of wetland and upland prairie species for planting at "The <br /> Boot" area of Meadowlark Prairie. <br /> B. Implement l0,acres of hazardous fuels reduction at the Chernecky site. <br /> C. Implement 10 acres of hazardous fuels reduction at the Hansen site. <br /> D. Map weed populations using GPS technology on 60 acres. This work will likely occur at <br /> Stewart Pond and the Speedway. <br /> E. Construct or maintain 2 miles of trails. This trails that are maintained may include Malik Trail, <br /> Bertelsen Trail, Salawa Trail, and Tsanchiifin Walk. . <br /> F. Implement 80 acres of hazardous fuels mowing. <br /> G. Apply. weed treatments to 200 acres. <br /> H. Oversee and schedule the work of youth crews from Lane Metro Youth Corps and Northwest <br /> Youth Corps.. Coordinate work and schedules, as needed, with the program managers and crew <br /> supervisors of these two organizations. <br /> I. If prescribed burns are going to occur prior to the completion date of this task order, assist <br /> BLM fire staff, Nancy Ashlock and Dave Reed, as needed. <br /> J. For all work identified under A-I, above, maintain accurate records of work accomplished at <br /> each site for each week of work. These records will be valuable for verifying work <br /> accomplished under this Task Order, as well as for planning future maintenance work. <br /> <br />
