00749.02 Limited Application <br />(Replace) This Section applies to placing asphalt concrete in driveways. <br />00749.13 Asphalt Concrete <br />(Add) Asphalt concrete shall be the class and grade as specified in Section 00745. <br />00749.11 Aggregate Base <br />(Add) Aggregate Base placed below driveways shall be placed in accordance with Section <br />00640. <br />00759.11 Aggregate Base <br />(Add) Aggregate Base placed below concrete walks and driveways shall be placed in <br />accordance with Section 00640. <br />00759.51 Curing <br />(Add) Do not apply curing compounds to the designated truncated dome areas of sidewalk <br />ramps and accessible route islands. <br />00759.75 Contractor's Warranty <br />(Add) 00759.75 Contractor's Warranty- Furnish a Warranty for the Miscellaneous Portland <br />Cement Concrete Structures according to 00170.85(b), for a Warranty period of one <br />year. The Warranty period will start at the issuance of the Third Notification. <br />For purposes of the Warranty, the Miscellaneous Portland Cement Concrete Structures <br />Work will be deemed to have defects when: <br />• Spalling, raveling, uncontrolled cracking, faulting, crumbling, or other defects are <br />present in the Miscellaneous Portland Cement Concrete Structures. <br />• Miscellaneous Portland Cement Concrete Structures settle and/or shift, and line <br />and/or grade deviates from 00759.50. <br />Upon the Agency's written notification the Contractor will repair and replace the <br />Miscellaneous Portland Cement Concrete Structures Work with defects within 6 months <br />of the Agency's written notification. <br />Work to correct defects to Miscellaneous Portland Cement Concrete Structures shall <br />meet the specifications in effect at the time of original installation, or if material is no <br />longer available, use material meeting current Miscellaneous Portland Cement Concrete <br />Structures specifications. <br />00759.90 General <br />Special Provisions -Job #4376 Page 15 <br />
