rj 5. The use of Mahlon Sweet Field for carrying on commercial aviation <br /> activities is restricted to those persons who shall have a written <br /> agreement or permit with the City. No person not so authorized, or <br /> ~ who is in default of an agreement, shall operate, service, or repair <br /> aircraft on the premises or carry on any business of any nature. <br /> I <br /> 1 6. No aircraft shall be flown within the Airport control zone in <br /> maneuvers other than those required in normal, routine operation. <br /> Special aviation events or demonstrations are not permitted on the <br /> Airport without the approval of the Federal Aviation Administration, <br /> ' and the written permission of the Airport Manager. <br /> SECTION VII <br /> TAlCIING RULES <br /> 1. Aircraft shall not begin taxiing before receiving a clearance from <br /> the air traffic control tower. <br /> 2. Aircraft shall taxi at a safe and reasonable speed. <br /> i <br /> 3. Aircraft shall use taxiways and paved areas when taxiing. <br /> 4, All aircraft using the Airport shall be equipped with adequate <br /> brakes. <br /> i <br /> <br /> ;;<,;,.,,~,,;;,,,„s 5. Taxiing aircraft shall be stopped a minimum of 150 feet, or as <br /> otherwise marked, from any active runway while waiting for take off <br /> clearance. <br /> { <br /> z <br /> SECTION VIII <br /> 3 AIRCRAFT GROUND OPERATIONS <br /> 1. Aircraft engines shall be run up only in the places designated. <br /> When engines are hand cranked, a competent operator shall be at <br /> the controls and wheels shall be chocked. <br /> 2. No aircraft engine shall be operated unless a licensed pilot or <br /> } mechanic be at the controls. Blocks equipped with ropes, or other <br /> ~ suitable means of blocking the aircraft shall always be placed in <br /> front of the main landing wheels before starting the airplane, unless <br /> ' it is equipped with adequate locking brakes. <br /> 3. Aircraft shall, be parked only in areas, and in the manners designated <br /> by the Airport Manager, and shall be subject to parking fees. <br /> 4. All Aircraft repairs, except emergency, shall be made in the design- <br /> ated spaces. <br /> -10- <br /> <br />
