<br /> 4 <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> INTENDED INCREASE IN RATES FOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> FOR SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT AND GRINDING <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and <br /> 7.130 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to <br /> increase the rates for maintenance services for sidewalk replacement and grinding projects <br /> as follows: <br /> Maintenance Services <br /> Current Rate Proposed Rate <br /> 25 sq. ft. = 5250.00 25 sq. ft. = 5275.00 <br /> 50 sq. ft. = 5300.00 50 sq. ft. = 5325.00 <br /> 75 sq. ft. = 5350.00 75 sq. ft. = S375.00 <br /> 550.00 per grind 560.00 per grind <br /> The proposed rates are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City <br /> Council, comparable to the rates established in other jurisdictions for providing such <br /> services, and are necessary in order to recover the costs of administering the program <br /> from the beneficiaries thereof as directed by the City Council and Section 7.130 of the <br /> Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> <br />
