All combustible rubbish, oily rags, waste <br /> mater al, or mechanic's workclothing, when kept within or adjacent to a <br /> build ng, shall be securely stored in metal or metal lined receptacles <br /> equip ed with tight fitting covers or in rooms or vaults constructed of <br /> non-c mbustible materials. <br /> 4.15.4 Floor Care. The floors of hangars and adjacent areas <br /> shall be kept free of all oil, grease, flammable or combustible liquids, <br /> and o her flammable materials. <br /> 4.15.5 leaning with Flammable Liquids. Class I liquids and <br /> Class II liquids with a flashpoint below 110 degrees F. shall not be <br /> used ithin a building for washing parts or removing grease or dirt <br /> unles they are used in a closed machine approved for such purpose or <br /> in a eparate well-ventilated room constructed in accordance with <br /> Secti n 79.804 of the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> 4.15.6 ~y Painting and Do i~ng_. All spraying or doping <br /> opera ions performed inside a building shall be conducted inside an <br /> appro ed spray booth, spraying area, or room approved for such uses. <br /> 4.15.7 Fire Extinguishers. All hangars and repair areas shall <br /> have t least one currently tested 2AlOBC fire extinguisher in a <br /> visib a location for each 300 square feet or less. Every towing <br /> vehic e, welding apparatus, aircraft refueler, and fueling station will <br /> have minimum of one currently tested 3A40BC extinguisher at all <br /> times Use of any fire extinguisher equipment under any circumstances <br /> shall be reported to the Airport Manager and Fire Chief immediately <br /> after use. <br /> 4,15.8 Storage of Flammable Liquids. No person shall store flam- <br /> mable or combustible liquids in any hangar or work area unless it is <br /> store in a properly labeled and approved flammable liquid storage <br /> cabin t. No dispensing of flammable liquids shall occur except in an <br /> appro ed container under five gallons. Storage cabinets may contain a <br /> maxim m of 50 gallons capacity of flammable liquids. Storage cabinets <br /> shall conform with the following requirements or their equivalent in <br /> fire esistance: Bottom, top, and side of the cabinet shall be made of <br /> steel having a thickness of 0.043 inch. The cabinet, including the door, <br /> shall be doubled wall with an 1-1/2 inch air space between the walls. <br /> Joint shall be riveted or welded and be tight fitting. Doors shall be <br /> well fitted, self-clos~fng and equipped with a latching device. The <br /> botto of the cabinet shall be liquid tight to a height of at least two <br /> inche Cabinets shall be conspicuously labeled in red letters <br /> "Elam able - Keep Fire Away" "No Smoking Within 50 Feet". <br /> 4.15.9 Welding or Burning. Welding or burning shall occur only <br /> in a ooth, room, or area designed for such use. <br /> 4.16 Smoking.
