Regi nal (MWMC) Wastewater System. <br /> The C ty of Eugene entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of <br /> Springfield a d Lane County which established the Metropolitan Wastewater Management <br /> Commission On November 26, 1990, the Commission adopted the Regional Facility <br /> Equalization harge which includes a regional administrative charge. In accordance with <br /> the agreem nt, the City of Eugene must adopt rates and charges not less than those <br /> rejquired by t e Commission. <br /> The egional Wastewater SDC is applied by the same method to development <br /> regardless o location either outside and inside the River Road/Santa Clara/Highway 99 <br /> Area. The R gional Wastewater SDC formula for calculating each element and application <br /> of the Regio al Wastewater SDC is determined by multiplying the applicable rate per EDU <br /> or PFU or his oric consumption, by the unit of measure for the proposed development. The <br /> SpC charg will be based on the greater of calculations using either the City <br /> mPoethodologi s or the current MWMC Equalization Fee as adopted by the MWMC <br /> C+pmmission.
