(main garden section), Monroe Park, Owen Memorial Rose Garden <br /> (main rose garden section), Scobert Park, Sladden Park, University <br /> Park, Washburn Park, Washington/Jefferson Park, West University <br /> Park, Maurie Jacobs Park (described as that contiguous park land <br /> west of Owen Rose Garden to a point on the west boundary where <br /> the improved area ends and the natural river front zone begins), and <br /> the Park Blocks (described as that area generally bounded by East <br /> Stn Avenue, West Park Street, and East Park Street). <br /> For purposes of this Rule, the following definitions as contained in Section 4.105 of the <br /> Eugene Code, 1971 for malt beverage, alcoholic liquor, and hard liquor, apply to-wit: <br /> Alcoholic liquor. An alcoholic beverage containing more than one-half <br /> of one percent of alcohol by volume. <br /> Hard liquor. An alcoholic beverage, including sweet wines and all <br /> spirituous liquors, containing 14 percent or more of alcohol by volume. <br /> Malt beveraae. Beer, ale, porter, stout and similar beverages made <br /> of barley malt, hops and water, containing more than one-half of one percent <br /> of alcohol by volume and not more than 14 percent of alcohol by volume. <br /> 1.008 USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS. <br /> The use of any lighted smoking instrument or device, or the oral use of <br /> tobacco products (i.e., chewing tobacco) is prohibited within all City recreation centers and <br /> pools. This prohibition shall also apply to areas outside such facilities that are within ten <br /> feet of doors, entries, or pathways thereto. As used herein, "smoking instruments or <br /> devices" are defined as cigarettes, cigars and pipes. This prohibition shall be incorporated <br /> in and made a part of all permits or licenses for use of City park facilities. <br /> 1.010 PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES. <br /> In addition to any other prohibitions in these rules, the following activities are <br /> prohibited within a park area: <br /> (a) Setting up or using a public address system without the written <br /> permission of the City. <br /> (b) Setting up or constructing any temporary structures, including, but not <br /> limited to canopies and tents, without written permission of the City. <br /> <br /> Administrative Order Amending Park Rules - 8 10/21/98 <br /> r:ladminordlrules~98prkrl2ao.wpd <br /> <br />
