at a minimum, also require aright-of--way cut permit. <br /> Revocable permits issued which involve the placement of underground facilities shall inform the <br /> permittee of the requirement for the permittee to subscribe to the Oregon Utility Notification Center <br /> and to respond to requests from underground excavators for the field location of the permittee's <br /> facilities. Failure to maintain this subscription may result in the permit being revoked. <br /> Revocable permits shall be subject to conditions specified by the City Engineer or designee. All <br /> work in the public way associated with installation or operation of a private facility within the public <br /> way shall conform to permitting and work standards included herein including, but not limited to, <br /> all standards for temporary traffic control, construction practices, and technical provisions included <br /> herein. EC 7.445(1) <br /> A private facility or structure placed in the public way prior to receiving approval by the City <br /> Engineer may result in a requirement to remove the structure or facility. If it becomes necessary for <br /> the proper or necessary public use of any public way that any facility installed or constructed be <br /> removed or relocated, the City Engineer or designee shall give written notice to the owner of the <br /> facility to remove the same within a reasonable time. If the owner fails to comply with such notice, <br /> the City may remove or relocate the same and change the costs of removal or relocation to the owner. <br /> EC 7.302 (1) <br /> Z.C.1 Application <br /> Application to use the public way under a revocable permit may be made to the staff of the City <br /> Engineer at the Permit and Information Center at 99 West 10th Avenue. <br /> 2.C.2 Plans and Drawings <br /> Due to the large variety of uses for revocable permits, the plans and drawings to be required for a <br /> permit will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Normally, in addition to required plans and <br /> drawings, a legal description must be provided of the property associated with the private facility <br /> proposed to be placed in the public way. Contact the staff of the City Engineer for specific <br /> requirements. <br /> 2.C.3 Review <br /> Engineering Division personnel have the responsibility of entering the permit information into a <br /> permit tracking system, routing the applications to the various reviewing divisions, and then issuing, <br /> issuing with conditions, or denying the permit.
